Keep the room and remote audience connected.

Choose the delivery assumptions
These controls model planning decisions. They do not test bandwidth or configure equipment.
Signal paths & operator actions
Assign an audio operator, vision/stream operator and show caller; confirm staffing against the actual scope. Rehearse the remote return, playback levels, lip sync and recovery before doors.
Awards transition check
Keep camera sightlines and award walk-ups clear while band equipment remains on stage. Confirm the stage plot with venue operations, lighting and camera crew. This sample takes inspiration from the production constraints in Encore’s WA Civil Construction Industry & Training Awards case study; it does not recreate that event.

Keys 1–4 load preview; T takes an armed cue; Escape disarms. Shortcuts pause while typing.
Prepare the next look
Loading or editing a preview disarms Take. Program stays unchanged until Take. Lower thirds are per-look; check spelling and speaker identity before taking.

Readiness & changes
Read the current show brief
Show the thinking behind the show.
00–30 sec / Plan for both audiences
Explore how a hybrid event brief becomes a practical plan for the room, broadcast and remote presenter.
Open Plan. Switch to Internet failure. Show how the room continues, the remote contribution changes, and a recording depends on consent. Check backup Internet to compare recovery actions.
30–60 sec / Rehearse the handoff
Open Rehearse. Load the host cue, add its lower third, check preview, arm, then Take. Load slides and show that program remains stable until the next approved take.
60–90 sec / Give the crew clarity
Open Handover. Fill the delivery owner, set a baseline, then change access times. Show the change list and export the show brief.
What the workflow demonstrates
Clear production planning connects the client’s desired outcome with crew roles, equipment, rehearsal time and reliable handover.
These samples make assumptions visible, preserve a checked program view and record changes for crew review.
Questions for a real production
- What should each audience see and hear?
- Who approves changes, and how do they reach the show caller and operators?
- Which equipment, crew and recovery procedures need rehearsal?
What works here
The planner responds to choices; the rehearsal preserves separate preview/program states; the handover flags missing items, compares changes and exports text. All run locally without external services.
What needs a real production environment
Routing, streaming, captions, recording, network failover and console control are illustrated only. Equipment, crew availability, consent, accessibility requirements, bandwidth and recovery procedures must be scoped and tested for each actual event. No Microsoft 365 integration is connected.
